On 19 February, @AITO Ukraine participated in the #ECTAA #TravelProtectionSummit in Brussels, which brought together leading industry professionals, policy makers and stakeholders to address the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of travel protection in both the business-to-business #B2B and business-to-consumer #B2C travel ecosystems. It was a day of important discussions on financial flows and protection payments in the travel industry, trends in the insurance market and consumer confidence issues, #passengerrights and #climatechange. Each panel offered insights into the challenges and solutions shaping the future of #travelprotection. It aims to share different perspectives and chart a course for a stronger, more resilient travel industry.
#AITOUkraine was represented in Brussels by Vice President Oksana Nazarenko and Board member Natalia Soboleva who were not just attending the Summit but also took part in the work of the Sustainability Committee and Legal and Consumer Affairs Committee of ECTAA of 18th February.
Participation in this event not only allows AITO to keep up to date with current issues and solutions of the European tourism community on traveller protection, but also to further promote the implementation of European solutions in the Ukrainian tourism industry for the future development of #sustainable and #resilient tourism in #Ukraine.
