On June 8, 2021 in the city of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, a presentation of the city of Kyiv as a tourist destination was held on the occasion of celebrating the Days of Kyiv in Baku. The event was initiated and supported by the Department of Tourism and Promotion of the Kyiv City State Administration and with the support of Deputy Mayor Marina Honda. The Association of Inbound Tour Operators of Ukraine, represented by Maria Yukhnovets, joined the delegation and presented the association and all its members, stressed the importance and benefits of cooperation with local tour operators in Ukraine, opened the tourist opportunities of the capital, taking into account current trends and preferences.
Also, B2B networking took place, during which all present tourist companies from Azerbaijan received contacts of all members of the association for further fruitful cooperation, which is one of the most important conditions for sustainable development and increasing the flow of tourists to Kyiv. Also, a plan of practical actions for cooperation in the field of tourism for 2021 - 2023 was signed between the Association of Inbound Tour Operators of Ukraine and the Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan.
