On January 10 to 14, 2024, the annual travel exhibition Vakantiebeurs was held in Utrecht (the Netherlands) The first day traditionally had a B2B format for establishing cooperation between outbound and inbound travel agencies and operators, and for the next 4 days, thousands of Dutch tourists came to the exhibition in search of new destinations and travel ideas.
Many European, Asian, African, South and North American countries were presented at the exhibition. And we are proud that the Association of Incoming Tour Operators of Ukraine took part in this exhibition.First of all, it is very important for our sector, industry, economy and the country itself that the voice of Ukraine sounds in the world. So that our state does not lose the focus of attention, so that Ukraine is known not only because of the terrible realities of war, but also as an incredibly beautiful country that would be worth visiting in the future, when possible, after our Victory.
Once again, we want to emphasize that it is important for us, inbound tour operators, to transform the world's support today into the willing to come to Ukraine in the future. We've shared the contacts of our members who without any doubts will be reliable inbound travel companies here in Ukraine. And we've received a lot of support. Almost no one passed by without saying: I will, I will come. Visitors put a lot of questions about the current situation in Ukraine, how many destroyed tourist sites and many other things. But at the same time everyone noted that they had a great desire to come to Ukraine as soon as possible for security reasons.
Every day, representatives of the Association Olena Kazmina and Maria Yukhnovets held a presentation in one of the halls of the exhibition complex, in which they emphasized the importance of a quick resumption of the tourist flow after the victory, in which all Ukrainians believe strongly, very good, brave and right that you are here.
The workgroup on the organization of the Association's participation in exhibitions has been preparing for this important event for several months. We are sincerely grateful to our colleagues who currently support us, who give us the opportunity to talk about Ukraine in the world, even where no one expected to see us.
Our participation became possible thanks to huge support of ANVR. We are honored to cooperate within the framework of membership in ECTAA who has showed its comprehensive support for our Association and Ukraine right after the beginning of the war.
We are stronger together!
